  About me

I have been working in graphic design for over 13 years and in the software sector for more than 5 years. Over time, I have developed a versatile profile, with experience in marketing, communication, design, and product development, mainly focused on document management solutions. This has given me a comprehensive view of the digital world: from graphic design to user experience, including communication and project management. While designing forms, buttons, and interfaces, I discovered that what truly excites me is UX/UI and product management.

In addition to my background in digital design, I’m an illustrator and comic artist, and I have taken part in several animation projects. This artistic side allows me to explore new ways of storytelling and to connect emotionally with people through images.

I come from a humanities background —Art History and Cultural Heritage Management— and I apply that cross-disciplinary perspective to connect creativity, structure, and technology in every project. Outside of work, I’m interested in digital culture, the social impact of design, and projects that blend art and technology.

Profile and Experience

  Work Experience

At Doceo Software, I built the marketing department from scratch: I created the full marketing plan, refreshed the corporate image after more than ten years, and supported the expansion of our software solutions through design. Since 2020, I’ve contributed to a 40% revenue growth and collaborated on compliance and accessibility (GDPR, ISO 27001, ENS, and WCAG 2.1). What I do day to day:

  • Plan and execute multichannel marketing strategies: SEO, SEM, email marketing, trade shows, social media, and content.
  • Coordinate external campaigns with specialized agencies.
  • Oversee graphic design and visual communication: website, presentations, videos, and catalogs.
  • Write functional, technical, and commercial content tailored to different audiences.
  • Continuously optimize the website for SEO and lead generation.
  • Support certifications and regulatory compliance: data protection, information security, ENS, and software industry standards.

Key results:

  • Sustained increase of qualified leads from organic channels and targeted campaigns.
  • Improved user experience and alignment between design, brand, and legal requirements.
  • Active participation in audits and key certifications (ISO, ENS, data protection).

Creation of graphic and digital content, and design of materials for cultural and educational projects. I have been working on my own projects of all kinds for years. I carry them out intermittently, during periods when I have less work, am unemployed, or when they are things I am passionate about.

Starting in April, I joined the mediation team of Bòlit’s socio-educational project, where I worked on tasks related to education, inclusion, and cultural communication. My main responsibilities included:

  • Joined Bòlit’s socio-educational project as part of a two-person Artistic Mediation team for contemporary art exhibitions.
  • Coordinated visits and workshops for general, children, and educational audiences, including inclusive activities for people of all abilities.
  • Supported activities for individuals with functional diversity, mental disorders, and socially excluded groups.
  • Participated in community projects and neighborhood art initiatives.
  • Managed graphic design, visual communication, website, and social media during a five-month maternity leave replacement.
  • It was one of the most rewarding jobs I remember.

I was part of the technical team of a political organization, supporting the organization and promotion of institutional, political, and cultural events across the region. Main responsibilities:

  • Part of the technical team for three consecutive campaigns, including a European election.
  • Coordinated logistics and supported organization of political and public events (elections, campaign events, meetings, thematic conferences).
  • Managed administrative and accounting tasks: treasury, budgets, invoicing, and database maintenance.
  • Built relationships with local associations, territorial entities, and community groups.
  • Wrote and distributed content for announcements, press releases, and digital channels.
  • Designed graphic materials for posters, brochures, social media, and other media.
  • Managed and maintained the institutional website in WordPress, ensuring updated and accessible content.
  • It was an intense period of work, practically 24/7, which I remember with a lot of energy. I can’t say we got much rest, but it was a very fun and exciting stage.

Some time ago, I did an internship in graphic design at Neorg Comunicación Integral and developed HTML interactives for educational books at Cruïlla, including digital and comic illustrations. I have also worked as a waitress, sales assistant, and supervisor in physical and online stores, performing observation, review, and point-of-sale audits, as well as analyzing brochures and websites. Basically, almost all the typical jobs of a student.

  My Education

  • Empathize with users by creating empathy maps, personas, user stories, and user journey maps.
  • Identify users’ pain points.
  • Ideate design solutions using techniques like Crazy Eights, How Might We, and competitive analysis.
  • Create page layouts and prototypes, both on paper and digitally.
  • Develop mockups applying visual design principles and elements.
  • Design using Figma, Miro, and other tools, including Antigravity for complete beta apps.
  • Conduct interviews and usability tests.
  • Integrate accessibility into every stage of the design process.

Complete course with practical knowledge on GDPR compliance and legal management of personal data.

Internship at the Carles Rahola Library, participating in three projects to promote bibliographic heritage. Creation of materials for the website and design of exhibition proposals: Lluís Duran collection, archive of stone documents and promotion of Girona authors from the historical collection.

Specialization in Adobe and graphic design, from basic to advanced principles, focusing on prepress, with professional internships in companies to gain practical, real-world experience.

Course on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship with practical application in projects such as AudioCultura, an audio guide platform.

Specialized training in management, interpretation, and dissemination of cultural heritage, applying research methodologies and communication strategies tailored to different audiences. The final project consisted of a study on graphic humor in the magazine *Presència* (Girona), with applications to cultural and digital projects.

Training in visual analysis, image interpretation, and understanding of cultural and historical contexts. Developed skills in observation, categorization, and visual communication applied to the study of artworks and heritage. Ability to contextualize visual elements according to period, audience, and function—a solid foundation for user-centered design and creating digital experiences with cultural content. So, i’m a very good company at museums.
